Re: Bug in JEFF3.2 Am241 data

Hello, As your title implies, the issue is with a bug in the JEFF-3.2 Am241 file. FISPACT-II reads the IZAP entry from the MF=10 data and as the entry in the JEFF-3.2 neutron Am241 file has IZAP = 0 the code prints this as a neutron with zero mass, and since the LFS is not zero you get a isomer, as ...

Re: water activation problem using FISPACT-2010

Dear Gediminas, Thank you for contacting us through the forum. Legacy FISPACT-2010 (and previous) software is no longer supported by the UKAEA. We support, maintain and develop FISPACT-II, which is available through the OECD-NEA Data Bank, RSICC or directly through the UKAEA. I've run your simulatio...

Dear Martin, Thank you for contacting us through the forum. I have added a few reference spectra to the wiki at http://fispact.ukaea.uk/wiki/Reference_input_spectra . These include the spectra in the manual and QA cases that come with the standard distribution. Please note that the files are in the ...

Re: Fatal error when using SSFCHOOSE with SSFMASS and PROBTABLE

Hello Fred, Thanks for contacting us through the forum. You have selected a case where there is no natural elemental composition (Actinium) that FISPACT-II can rely upon to use in the self-shielding calculation. For these elements, or in general where a non-natural isotopic mixture is required, you ...

Re: minimum value for appm etc

Hello Steve,

Many thanks for noting this. The fix will unfortunately not be in the new version 3-20-00 release (December 2016) but we have added it into the upcoming development branch.

Best regards,
Michael
